Same Fresh Pasta, Since 1988

38+ Years

Our story began with Vittoria, born and raised in Milan, Italy. After the Second World War and the Holocaust she immigrated to Israel, and here she felt something was missing: a place that brings fresh pasta the way she knew it back in Italy.

During a visit to friends in Milan, Vittoria rediscovered the world of fresh pasta and decided, together with Moshe — her Israeli husband, whom she met in Tel Aviv — to bring the concept to Israel. In 1988, after buying the equipment and bringing the knowledge and techniques with them from Italy, we opened our place on Ibn Gabirol Street in Tel Aviv: a family boutique factory, a maker’s shop, and an Italian restaurant.

From the very beginning we made fresh pasta, ravioli, tortellini, lasagne and sauces from original Italian recipes. Over the years we kept working with Italian ingredients, importing cheeses, flours and special products, and holding on to the same way of working we started with.

Today too, more than thirty-eight years later, we still make our pasta the same way — the same recipes, the same machines, the same insistence on quality and precision, and even the same hands preparing the food.

The shop is open today as well, where we continue to make and sell fresh pasta, ready-made products, and a wide range of wines, cheeses and special Italian goods.

There are also two tables for those who want to enjoy the food on the spot, and take-away can be ordered every day between 12:00 and 16:00.

Milan
Vittoria is born and raised in Milan, Italy, surrounded by the fresh pasta tradition she would later bring with her.
After the war
